Using an online social bookmarking service has many benefits. Since as a student you are at many different computers throughout the week, having your bookmarks in one place online is a bonus. As a learner you also want to build your personal learning network. This is were the social part of “social bookmarking” coming into play. You are able to build a personal learning network easily by adding people of similar interests to your network.

We will be using a service called del.icio.us. Here are some video tutorials to help you along the way. The video that we watched in class by David Warlick can be found here if you would like to view it again. Jon Udell has a nice screencast to show a nice workflow while using del.icio.us.
